Artist Development

Management Consulting
Management Consulting is an intermediary step in developing a long term artist / manager relationship. A typical artist manager would provide management services to the artist on an ongoing basis, for a percentage fee of all income derived by the artist. Under this arrangement, the artist manager assumes all responsibilities for the "business" of running the artist's career and making it profitable, while the artist only has to make music.
As a management consultant, Relax Music Group would provide many of these services, for a retainer fee, without becoming totally immersed in the business operations of your band . You would still be fully in control of your internal operations, while having an experienced industry professional providing guidance and insight in making crucial decisions. In other words, we would provide you with all the advice and consul you need to place your career on a successful path.
Additionally, Relax Music Group can execute decisions made with you, by making phone calls, shipping product and working industry contacts on your behalf. We see to it that all of the decisions made towards developing your career are carried out. In essence, Relax Music Group would act in the capacity of a manager on your behalf, while you retain all control of your career.

Artist Management
Artist Management is a commissioned based service that essentially creates a Business Partnership between the Artist and Manager. In hiring a Manager, you are forging a long term working relationship, whereby both parties rely on each other's talents and contributions to make the entire enterprise profitable. Your Manager is your representative to the music industry, and will act as a liason between your act and record companies, booking agents and venues, promoters and publicists, and all of the people that will be involved in making you successful.
A good Manager will guide every aspect of your career. From your presentation on stage, to your image off stage, your Manager is there to make certain you are presented in the absolute best possible light. Above all your Manager is responsible for making your Act profitable, by putting you on the road for gigs and public appearances, helping you sell your music and merchandise.
